What is your unit of measurement?
The X150 XK/R only came in 4.2 liter and 5.0 liter versions.

In the US yes but some of Europe had a 3.5 litre.

As I collect Jaguar brochures, I recently bought a brochure for one:

Recharging the battery again to try to give the car a good crank tomorrow. They say it might spit a bit but most likely is the issue. Also suggestion is to floor the throttle at the same time. Will do that first and then open up the engine and check sparks.
never knew they made a 3.5L and i'm in the USA so we never heard of those😳I knew it was something with your fuel though and I hope all the info everybody gave you was enough to help.Hope it cranks up for you tomorrow

What does the word "year" mean? Model year? Registration year? Manufacture Year? Calendar Year?

They're not synonymous. End the confusion and read this thread for The Not So Simple Answer, thanks to GGG and Cambo:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...n-year-213607/

This Forum shows "XK/XKR (X150) 2006-2014", which I presume are model years. The first MY in North America was 2007. So, it appears that the first MY in Europe was 2006. Am I wrong? Click the above link and find out.

Discovered that later (after my previous post) on the web. Also found that there were some diesel prototypes made, but I think those were 3.0L. Live and learn.
Thanks for posting the brochure!
