Custom stereo
I have a 2009 XK and I have the bowers and Wilkins stereo and I want to add 2 10 inch subwoofers, so I need to know where the factory subwoofer is and what I need to do to keep the factory head unit working and have the factory amp continue to power the Reston the interior speakers. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

i can't help you with the location of the stock sub, but i believe it is somewhere front and center of the dash. you will simply need a line output converter and tap into the line leading into the sub. you can tap into any of the speakers, however, the sub is preferred so you can control the sub output from the head unit.
I must say though, why do you feel you need more base? I have built some mean systems in the past. One 7,000 watt, 15 speaker system on my wake boat. However, it is just diffrent on a jaguar XK. In my opinion, they have a good system for the size fo the cockpit. i said, good and not great, as it could be a bit better. i have yet to feel it needs an upgrade. plus, if i did, i couldnt fit the golf clubs in the trunk
here is a link of someone who did feel that need and did it right.
hopefully it provides you with some inspiration.
Also, for pulling the amplified signal from the sub.
