Default Which is the cylinder number 2 on our cars?

Should be simple answer but I can't find for sure information online or in the manual. If anybody knows how the numbering on our cars is for cylinders would be great.
08 Xkr
Thanks

I wish there were more of them. I love learning how to do things on cars that I own. Or should I say, I love to learn how to do things so I know when to throw in the towel.

It takes a lot of time to build a thread like that and sometimes it doesn't go exactly to plan or has unexpected consequences. When I did the same in F-PACE forum (long before I got mine), I was accused of posting a "paid ad for services" with potentially malicious links.

Once an FAQ 'HOW TO' thread is done, adding further topics is usually quick and easy. I do spot some suitable threads but RELY ON MEMBERS to recommend worthy additions.

JLR are masters of confusion when it comes to cylinder numbering. Several changes for the V8 .......

Btw found what the issue was with number two cylinder misfire that this customer had. It was a dead coil. And apparently somebody used a Delphi coil instead of a denso worked for a few years but then it failed. there's two more delphi coils on it. Car is 2007 XKR
