I can't even find the actual oil specification for the AC Delco oil - like some sort of unicorn ****.

Checking out Eaton they use Nye 605 oil.

Thanks for the link OzXKR.

I wouldn't mind knowing exactly what the oil is. I can only assume its a 100% synthetic ester base or group 4 POA light viscosity gear oil.
NYE has been brought out by FUCHS Lubricates and I'll contact them locally to speak to someone technical.

The Eaton SC is at most spinning twice the max engine RPM so its not some magic oil. Only a couple of gears and bearings are in there that needs lubrication.
