I'm sure this made perfect sense as you wrote it but it leaves me rather mystified. Which picture and why the interest? Although not obligatory, we do encourage new members to post an Intro in New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum to tell us something about their vehicle and their location which helps understand model and market specification. If you add a little more detail here, other members may be more responsive.

There was a red 2008 with a sunroof on BAT a few years back. It was discussed in a thread here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...railer-195818/

An aftermarket sunroof is a bad idea, mainly because a hole in the roof compromises the structural integrity of the vehicle in a rollover accident. That's why the X150 convertible features rollbars that automatically deploy if the car senses an imminent rollover.
Aftermarket sunroofs are expensive, reduce headroom, and are known for squeaks and leaks.
A lose-lose situation.

I put several aftermarket sunroofs in my cars, an old Mercury GT, a Dodge Van and a T-Bird... plus a couple of buddies' cars.
They weren't the sliding electrical ones, just the Pop-Up ones. Never once had a leak, the headroom was actually improved, and they were very affordable. No structure was cut in any of the installs, just the floppy panel material.
I'd happily do it again (in and older paid-for car) if I found the desire. NOT on an XKR though. Besides, I usually buy 'verts anyway.

A neat job but must reduce headroom. Also, with the curve of the roofline, it has had to be installed further back than ideal for a sunroof.

Hi Guys,
I live in Ireland and have a 2012 Jaguar XK Coupe in red with white upholstery.
I am only the second owner of the car and it has covered just 32,000 miles in its lifetime with full dealer service history.
My preference would have been for a Cabriolet.
The Cabriolets are so few in number here that they are almost impossible to obtain.

This is the sunroof that I saw on your forum. I would like to explore importing one from the USA but I cannot identify a supplier.
Any help the Forum could provide in this regard would be very much appreciated.

You can't link photos to a forum post - you have to upload them.
One manufacturer of the type in the photo I posted is WEBASTO and the slide and tilt roof is their HOLLANDIA model.
