hi, I am a newer to the forums, have a 2010 XK portfolio and really love it!!
I found a brand called Larini and there are some videos online that show the exhaust effect, personally I think it is truly amazing. my friend said their product gives this British car's exhaust some Italian feeling, like Maserati gt
I wonder if anyone here have Larini product for their XK or XKR or have heard the exhaust on the road. Really want to purchase one for mine.![Icon Flowers](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_flowers.gif)
PS: also wonder if my extended warranty will still work after I remove the OEM exhaust part. my friend told me that sometimes staff at 4S store won't care about this kind of mechanical change. I mean for example, if there is something wrong with my engine, will they care about whether my exhaust part is OEM or not?
thanks !!

When it comes to the warranty you will have to ask who the warranty is from, we can't answer that.
I know Maserati's factory warranty if an exhaust modification is made will not cover any exhaust issues from header to tailtip even if only one component is changed. They will still warranty the rest of the car.
If they also determine that the exhaust was cause of an issue then that issue would not be covered by warranty.
Ultimately you have to find out from reading through your extended warranty papers to find the answer.
I do not know if it is made for the 5.0L 2010 car, but my personal favorite is RR Performance back box.

You have an Extended Service Contract ("ESC") from a third party insurance company unrelated to Jaguar, even if it was sold to you by a Jaguar dealer on their letterhead. It is not a "warranty" because it was not provided by the manufacturer, Jaguar. Read your ESC closely, particularly the provisions concerning exclusions, limitations, and deductibles. Many ESCs have vague and ambiguous terms that enable the Administrator to deny coverage. There is no "standard form" ESC but all of them say that the terms and conditions of their contract control, notwithstanding anything that the sales person said or provided to the contrary. ESC companies are in business to make a profit and some disreputable companies always deny claims based on the fine print in their contract.
Be careful when buying an aftermarket exhaust, as some create an annoying drone at various RPMs. They can also trigger a check engine light. You can minimize those risks by asking the vendor to contact their customers who bought that system for their XK and have them call you.

Have your Jag dealer install it and they won't bust your ***** about a warranty item later if they agree to put it on in the first place. Larini make nice stuff; had the decat and exhaust on my Evora which the local Lotus-AM dealer is a reseller for.
Just knowing a dealership is also a Larini dealer should give you enough confidence in their products.

Well I have a Larini Exhaust which will fit the 5.0L & 4.2L as I have both adaptor pipes too. But find it too loud.
No drone though!

I had an elite before: it was to loud and sound was rough nevertheless performances were identical.
Honestly, larini is excellent. The fitting is not the best: tubes are not each time correctly bent but it’s possible to mount them as long as you force on tubes with a strap to be aligned.

I understand they are manufactured when ordered, not in stock. Just patiently waiting, ECU tune is done, car is running incredibly. 200 cell cats installed but the downstream Oxygen sensors need to be moved proximally to the Rear CATS.

When I had a Larini on my Lotus, they offered two style tips. The ones I originally wanted was like 6-8 weeks or take the other one that was in stock... Went with what was in stock. Really well polished and beautiful looking pieces they create.
