Does yours like 5th

Most of my driving is around town and on local roads where the speeds range from 30-55 mph. As i get more used to driving this car I mostly notice the revs running a little higher while cruising at around 40mph. So I have been hitting the + paddle and it shifts into 6th. The more I watch this it appears the transmission stays in 5th during most of these drives unless I force it into 6th. Just an observation and was wondering if this is normal. By the way I think this gearbox is pretty slick and very seamless in it's shifting. I also find if I go to S mode it is fun to go through the gears and I like the rev matching during downshifts. It's fun to do this around town but it's tough on fuel mileage , LOL.

Since the cats were put in I exclusively drive in S and manual shifts. Up to 60 I drive in 5th and around 70 I shift into 6th while cruising on the highway. I also no downshift to first always when I come to a stop or start. Never done that before but the noise the exhaust makes REQUIRES it .... and the people DESERVE it ...
