Drag duty wheels

I want to order a new set of rear wheels (same type as my fronts, Forgiato Drea) just for drag strip duty. Anyone have input on what wheel/tire size that would be ideal for strip duty? Want to accommodate widest tire possible. Looking for input on what offset I'd need and what tire would be ideal for the drag strip. Even if the tires stick out a ways is not a concern just as long as they wouldn't rub anywhere.

Forgot to add right now is 22" Forgiato Drea-M with 295/25 Nitto INVO's out back. Looking to go down to a 18" or 19" rear wheel if it will fit with as much meat back there as possible. Taking this car to the drag strip has kind of become a bit of an addiction for me lately, but my major downfall so far is the lack of traction, especially with the 22s and the rubber bands that's on em.

If E.T lowering is your goal there are many factors to consider. It's not necessarily the wider the better, more un-sprung weight with tire weight further from the axle center point. Keep in mind too, the large the rim the larger the polar moment of inertia, which equates to more power needed to turn.
I'm assuming you will be driving her to the track so that narrows tire options.
If you are going to be installing the tire at the track there are many non-DOT tires that work.
Some options for DOT approved would be Nitto / Mickey Thompson ET Streets.
If you are going to be driving the car to the track, a Mickey Thompson ET Street would do you well. I believe you can find these in a 305/35/18, which would keep your over all diameter close to stock, if you are running 295/30/20. (685mm vs 671mm).
Keep in mind, these compounds are much softer, so it doesn't take as much tire to stick.
Narrow down the rim size you are going to fit-up then you can lock in the tire that would best suit your needs.

It's a 2010 XKR with the standard performance brakes, which I believe are the Teves.
It's looking like Forgiato only offers the Drea-M down to a 19" so that will probably be what I will go with. I'm more concerned with what offset I'd need to run a 345 without going too far in, if they protrude the wheel well wouldn't be a concern. And yes will be driving to the strip and then home which is about 35 miles each way.
