Default Elastic Strap in Trunk

Have you've wondered what the small black elastic strap in the left side of the trunk is for?

It holds the bottle of Jaguar-branded Leather Cleaner & Conditioner that was supplied by the factory. I don't know if coupes are the same as convertibles.

Anyone else still have that bottle?

No bottle but I use mine to hold a Ctek battery maintainer/charger.

Hopefully, only when it's not plugged in. It's not safe to leave it in the trunk with the lid closed while charging.

Got mine.

There's a little strap on both sides, though. What are we supposed to keep on the other side? Travel size of your favorite beverage?

Which seat did you use the bottle to clean?

I thought it'd be pretty rare to find another one, but I was wrong.

What good is an extinguisher that only works on small fires?

The main "fire" it's supposed to extinguish is the one in the eyes of a cop doing the inspection 😄

It's required equipment in Poland along with emergency triangle.

Putting out a friend’s cigarette that gets too close to your car? (I say friend, because a stranger, unless only wearing a bikini, you have no idea what else they may be carrying.)

Now I'm going to have to start searching eBay for an original Leather Care bottle to complete my car.

Didn't the holder house the original first aid kit?

There is only one strap, on the driver's side of the trunk (boot), for the leather care bottle.

The red wire is for my CTEK battery maintainer.
