Got myself a MY14 XFR in Italian Racing Red, black pack, black alloys (think that might be part of some other pack?).

(spires stage 2 to be ordered tomorrow morning)

I realise this is now in the wrong forum, but it's a follow up to my previous "ditching BMW for Jag" discussion

Very nice!!! That is one hell of an upgrade in performance.

I also am a BMW to Jaguar convert, from an '06 650 to '12 XK. I have no regrets and am sure you will enjoy your new ride. For me it was just a need for change, I like variety.

I went from owning a couple M3 conv's to Porsches to this Jag. I found the BMW's were built extremely well built and easy to maintain however lacked any sort of character when driving, almost like driving a Lexus. Porsche on the other hand driving it was as though it was an extension of my mind and was an absolutely pleasure to drive. They talk about "grin factor - when driving my Porsches I LOVED looking at them and driving them, when driving my BM'ers it was as though they were jsut cars, the grin factor with my Jag is massive whether looking at it or driving it it is pure joy for me. I took a good look at the 6 series conv and found the whole dashboard to be quite a turnoff, looking very boring and low class for their top-end car, so much so that it eliminated it in my book no different than the Porsche dashes from 2003 - a couple years ago. I really wanted to like it but between the Bungle butt (truly a disaster in design) and that dash I couldn't get myself to like it in the least.
