External temperature saying -40°c
Hi everyone,
But if a weird one, since I've had the engine rebuilt and body panels off the interior screen now says the external temperature is -40°c. Not sure what is causing this, any help would be much appreciated

There is a Technical Service Bulletin for a software upgrade (copy attached, see item #2) that addresses a temperature problem. In my car, when the outside temp dropped below 59 degrees F, the temp would show as 0 degrees F. After the software upgrade, the problem was fixed.
Hope this helps.

I don't know what year your car is and I'm not sure if this is your issue, but I had this problem.
