Default Fault code

Just ran the icarsoft diagnostic reader and it came back with a few codes. the first code was B100B_67 B100B_67. IPC Instrument cluster control module state intermittent column lock ground authorisation. I looked it up but got somewhat confused as different web pages seem to give differing opinions. Would it be worth getting an auto electrician to have a look or can I ignore the code?

Delete the code and if you don't ever actually notice any faults then I'd forget about it.

Hi Richard,
Thank you for the prompt reply. I did delete the code had my dinner and then ran the test again and it showed up again. Is it still ok to ignore?

These cars sometimes give spurious ODB faults even though nothing is apparently wrong. I wouldn't do anything unless you actually notice that something is not working properly.

Might want to try a hard reset by disconnecting the battery - make sure the battery is fully charged before reconnecting.

Hi McJag,
I have tried that but the fault is still there. If it is not important I do not mind ignoring it, but for it to keep showing up sort of bothers me .
