I've had the car since May 20th. That damn E-Diff warning light has been nagging me since day 1. A couple of days ago I bought a used XFR differential locking motor on eBay for $300. Today I installed it. What a pain in the ***! (...and back and head and neck). I did it with the car on jack stands. Fortunately I have one of those things you lay on and roll around under the car.
It took me all day. I had to drive into town twice: once to buy some RTV sealant and a second time to buy a special tool to reach the bolts on the top side of the differential locking motor. They are impossible to reach with standard tools.
Anyway... I got it all done, calibrated the motor with SDD, and now I have this!!! NO WARNING LIGHTS!!!
Also, a big "thank you!" to Cambo, and Brutal, and everyone else who helped me work through this problem. I flew 1000 miles to buy the car. I posted a question to the forum while sitting at the car lot. I had answers within minutes, and it convinced me to go ahead and buy the car.
Back and forth to the office I get no more than 12.3mpg. On a loooong haul on the interstate at 75mph cruise on the best I get is 17-18mpg.
Glad you finally got it fixed.

You must use the gas pedal like an on/off switch. My first drive with the car was a thousand mile trip from Kansas City back to North Carolina. I averaged a little over 23.

Around town I get 18-22 depending on how hard I drive, but usually more towards the 22 side. Of course, mine is not supercharged.
Glad to see no warnings! I hope the car will now treat you right and be trouble-free for a long time. Sorry about your rocky start with your car, but I think you will grow to love your new acquisition.
