Default First New Shape XKR on air

Here's a release video of my car. Hope you guys enjoy.

p.s the roofbox is an aesthetic thing in the stance world. I know a lot of you will not agree on the look!

The "stance world". I didn't know there was one but I thought I recognised Box Hill in Surrey as part of it?

Like the car but I lean more towards ascetic than aesthetic when it comes to roof boxes.

Yeah the "air ride world" lol
When I go to shows it comes off, only certain shows will it be on!
Yup, that's box bill! And the vineyard just outside it!

As for the box, I don't get it... At 33 seconds you show the tach and you have a lot of lights on the dash lit up. (TPMS, check engine, service required) Whats up with that?

Why is one headlight green and other blue? Different bulbs?

only 2 lights, the EML is a recurring fault from the Viezu map it had "U3FFF" which I'm getting looked at as we speak
and the TPMS is because of the new wheels, that's also being removed as we speak. The service required you mention isnti there

I believe it's because of the angle, due to the projector lens and it being an HID bulb, itll be different colours, have you not seen a blue light turn into a white light on a car behind you?

I wouldn't put a box on my roof even on a dare. If it is a "be in the group" thing then I wouldn't be in the group.
Ghastly.
It reminds me of these debacles:

Your car would be nice without it. WITH it, I guess it will appeal to a very, very, very, very, very small group of 'stance world' people, all others will silently laugh to themselves.
Oh well, to each their own.

Pauleddy
Its a masterpiece production!
On par with something one would see in a movie, I suppose these are the days of citizen made media.

You need a plot mate.
Man rolls down high street in loud slammed menacing looking car,
you can read the expressions as they turn their heads- tosser.
man returns with box on roof and they say 'look luv their'on oliday'

You have had more fun with your XKR than some will in a lifetime, photographers chasing you and all.
Photographer was right, if that video was made of a stock XKR (like mine) it would be un-newsworthy, and delusional in a different way.

HID bulbs have different "temperatures" that dictate color. While you can see color only around cutoff, with most of the light being white, the cutoff color for the same type of bulb should be the same. One exception - as bulbs age, if they are quality parts that designed to last, they color-shift toward purple. I once had a set of blue bulbs go very notable purple, it was "in" color at that time so I left them in. This also means that if you replace only one bulb when it fails, you end up with a different-colors headlights.

Thanks. Sure, send me a link. I've seen them advertised somewhere before. They probably cost more than I'm willing to pay. I assume the display is connected via bluetooth to the OBD2 port.

Yeah that's how they work, bluetooth 5.0 so it's super fast

They range from £900-£1400
