Default Flashing Jaguar screen

I have a 2013 Jaguar with 60k miles - always serviced and maintained .
a few weeks ago I got into the car and the touch screen just flashed with the Jaguar logo - after a few mins the screen would come on and everything would work fine .
the next time I got in it might be ok or the same -
anyone has the same issue ?
rhe dealers opinion is to spend $5k on a new screen , I can’t help but think it’s something more simple as it does come on !

any advise appreciated !

How good is your battery?
Do you keep it on a maintainer?
A bad but working battery can give very strange electric failures.

Check the battery as it is the most likely problem.

when you exit the vehicle, lock it. Leave it locked for 10 minutes and keep the key fob away from the car (at least 3 ft) during that time. And as others have suggested, battery....

Had a similar issue once. It ended up being a loose grounding nut in the passenger footwell, against the right side of the car, very near the glove box.

sorry, nearly forgot about the time my Bluetooth module gave up the ghost. Presented itself this very way too. I circumvented the situation by turning Bluetooth off on my phone anytime I got near the car until I replaced the module.
