While visiting Chris at Mina Gallery a few weeks ago to pick up a replacement center piece to my front splitter (that had been broken at my mechanic's shop when they came down a ramp too quickly), the piece was delayed several times. I had previously seen the R logo wheel caps as well as the R Performance Emblem and thought they look rather nice. I asked Chris if I could buy them or were they just prototypes, and he gave me a set of each, not allowing me to pay for them. I have never been totally comfortable with all black wheels so the caps provided some contrast, and the emblems, were tasteful and could be justified (in my mind) by the fact that I had the pulley and tune performance mods. I had ordered a set of the Jaguar stick-on lettering on ebay (for a whopping $4.00), and when they didn't show up for 2 months, ebay credited my paypal account for the $4.00. A couple of days later, the letters showed up anyway, and ebay would not let me pay for them even though I asked to do so. So, what to do with all this free newfound bling? In case you can't tell, the emblem is on the rear portion of the side skirt in front of rear wheel.

And we decided to rebuild my old splitter because it fit better than the new replacement. Going back on next week, when I'm out of town for a few days.
