Hello all,
My 2011 XK convertible has the 3 garage door opening switches. The left hand one is loose and sits lower than the other 2. If it bugs me enough, what is the procedure to remove the plastic piece in which the switches sit?

Yank it down. Carefully.

 

This should show you how to remove the overhead console. As you can see by the pics where the clips are that hold it in place so you know where to pull down. (as CeeJay notes, gently). The rest should become clear once you remove it.

Strange. I click the link, I get the master list, scroll to interior, then click on over console, but that link takes me back to the original link…, but the overhead console link will not open????

Thank you. I can access the entire thread. Looks like the console comes down without too much effort, but that fixing the switch is a bit more complicated. I don’t think I’m going to use them anyway, so I might just leave them alone.
Now the broken sun visor is another thing…. That I will fix!
