Default Which gas do you use where you are? / Jaguar Le Port Marly

I use 95 gas in spain and i experience hesitation at acceleration, intermitent acceleration, it goes stop goes stop etc...it has done it 5 times with 3000 km ( it stopped in sport mode) . we had a service done since but it still doing it. and also a noise when i shut off the engine, like rusted valves, it is loud one time on 4. and it seems I am the only one with these issues, related?
which additives will you try yourself?

any advices?

Do you have access to a fuel additive which raises the octane level of your gasoline? It is sold everywhere in the US.

Get some of this and and add to your gasoline.

93 is the highest in my region (NE USA - Boston). I use either Shell or Sunoco.

That thing should go like a bullet on 95 RON petrol. Maybe the knock sensors are acting up?

+1. The cars were built to achieve full rated performance on 95 RON. The OP's problems don't sound anything like detonation related issues.

Europe and North America have different octane rating systems for gasoline/petrol. Our 91 AKI is their 95 RON.

91 octane in southern California (highest available). I use only shell and chevron due to their superior additives to the gas
