Gauge pack

Gauge pack
OK I just hooked up my Torque Pro to the Jag. I purchased an ELM327 mini but with an on/off feature. I can keep it plugged in all the time and if I remember (can see red LED near left knee) to turn it off it should not be a drain . Today after I washed the car I just did a start and see what the gauge set would do. It works great and as I let the car warm up it settled out at 195* +/- 2*. I also noticed that the Idle voltage from the control module is 13.2V . Idle in closed loop is reading 600RPM . I am using a 7" Samsung tab and if I wanted to be creative I could make up a removal mount in front of the Nav. screen. Pretty cool.

Not necessarily if the nav screen has a RGB input then a product like NAV TV could be used. I thought someone here did one.

I agree . I bet there is someone out here who has the knowledge to be able to somehow come up with a similar Troque Pro APP that using the ipod/pad adapter or the usb that will interface with the NAV. screen. Seems to me if you can play music through these adapters you should be able to put this info on the screen. You wouldn't need all of the features only a few like water temp. , battery voltage maybe vacuum and something else. It also would have been nice to have an oil pressure sensor (BT). Just thinking out loud.

There are also a couple of other devices out there that accomplish the same thing and have been discussed in other threads. I have been looking for one in particular but have not been able to find it yet.
