On your car I would go for the monotone union jack center caps instead of the R. Just look more classy in your color combo IMO.

Those centercaps look awesome! I was also considering some of the classic style Jaguar logo ones, where it’s the hexagon.

See, now that looks absolutely fantastic! I feel as though it would match the hood vents and brake calipers nicely.

How’s the condition of the center dash? Right above the vents? My 2012 has slight pulling in that area. Jaguar Select warranty doesn’t cover trim and it’s... expensive to fix. I’m sure it can be stretched and touched up by non dealer.. but you may be able to get some $$ off the price.

I strongly recommend them if they work for you as to dates and location.
Do they still offer this?

It's interesting actually, the insurance for the XK is actually lower than for my brother's Ford Fusion.

That's odd. Jaguars have been expensive to insure in my locale. My Astons were both cheaper to insure than the our Jaguar XE.

I think insurance companies base it off of where you are, the specs of the car, crash statistics for that car in the area, cost of repairs, and average driver base.

Also, off topic but I see F-Types far more than I see XKs, and I’ve never seen another XKR driving around, though I’ve seen F-Type SVRs. Any reason for this?

I believe more F Types have been manufactured than XK's, plus years of attrition decrease numbers of XK's on the road.

I’ll take a look at production numbers, though that does make a lot of sense

Plus, only COOL people drive XKs. Boppers tend to drive F-Types.

Add in the 2008 crash and recession took a lot of buyers off the market. That's a reason the 2007 was the most produced. With the current MAGA trend I expect to see a good many more high end cars on the road.

In my neighborhood alone, there’s a Vanquish S, a C7 (don’t know what spec, I rarely see it) various Tesla models. Those are the only notable luxury cars.

I’m in Atlanta, and in the Marietta area it’s almost nothing but luxury cars. Hopefully things will stay like this for a long time to come.

Yep, all those huge corporations can now buy/lease supercars for all their top executives. Also the billionaires will be able to double their garage queens.
Me, I got an extra $48 per month on my retirement pay. Gee, thanks. Guess I can buy a couple Hot Wheels cars per week.

I’m also in Marietta (5 minute drive from the square). Keep your eyes peeled, you may see mine one day.

Red’s Auto detail is also in Marietta, just west of the square on Whitlock ave. I highly recommend bringing your car to them for a paint correction and ceramic coating. Those guys can seriously work some magic.

What year XK do you have? Might've spotted it (I photograph every XK I see) Also, I'll definitely check those guys out!
