Default Gill lighting lens part number?

The lens on the light at the top of the driver's side gill on my 2008 XK mysteriously was broken this morning. Does anyone know the part number, and possibly where to source it?

Also, is there a place to easily look up part numbers?

Thanks,

Ken

Part number for the LH Direction Indicator side lamp is C2P3561.

You can download JEPC from sticky section of several of the forums. Use the search function to find it.

Left is C2P3561 cost around $66.82

My 2 favorite parts lookups are

https://oemdiscountcarparts.com/

https://www.genuinenewparts.com/

Hope that helps,

Dave

Google "OEM Jaguar parts". Many Jaguar dealers sell parts online at discounted prices. Their online catalogs are easy to search by year and model and show parts diagrams. Compare prices and shipping costs. Use these prices and see if your local Jaguar dealer's parts department will meet them to save the shipping cost.

Can I just get the lens, or do I have to replace the whole fixture? Looks like that part number is for the whole fixture.

The lens is not a service part that is sold separately.

Also check with Forum sponsors and Ebay. Here's one from the UK:

So I ordered it from the local Jag dealer today. $157.

Thanks for the help, especially the part number.

I cancelled the order through my dealer and got it instead through Dave's suggestion oemdiscountcarparts, for a total of $77 shipped versus $157 from the dealer.

Thanks, Dave!

I prefer to support local brick and mortar establishments when possible, but really, the car dealerships make it very difficult. I mean, double the price? Get real.

I do to but when they're willing to bend you so far over without batting an eyelash, screw them.

My long term (20+ year) welding supply shop got dropped last week because they charged list price for some sanding discs. Said I no longer qualified for any discounts as I didn't have an account with them. Got the same Sait ones from Amazon for 40% less and will take my bottles elsewhere to get filled.

Hi Ken,
You are very welcome, glad to help!

You were wise in choosing the one you did (oemdiscountcarparts) as they have the best prices vs the other one I mentioned. I know for a fact they also have excellent customer service and will treat you right.

If it makes you feel better you did support a Brick and Mortar Establishment, it just happened to not be local and it was from a Jaguar Dealership. They just happen to have a very nice and smart Parts Manager who also likes to get parts to end users like us at the best price possible. He also believes in great customer service and I would guess you will have your parts in 2-3 days shipping time.

Cheers,

Dave
