Default Having a blast!

I haven't put a lot of miles on my 2013, but I have been driving it and I have to say this is one fun and fast car! It's a base XK but it still MOVES! I can only imagine what an XKR is like (speeding ticket waiting to happen??!) I've had a Porsche 914 (my very first car, and definitely a disappointment), a Mustang, 1984 Trans Am, 1977 C3 Corvette, still have the 1987 944 S, and I have to say the XK is faster than any of them. I think the 944 S handles 'slightly' better, but man... acceleration and top end speed there is NO comparison to the XK. It wants to get out and run! I constantly have to check the speedometer because it just wants to cruise between 70-80. I passed someone and was at 95 before I knew it.

I was out the other day and got it hand washed and a local cop came walking up to my window. I thought okay here we go... but all he said was 'This is a NICE ride!' He walked around and then asked me what exactly it was! He thought it was a 2021! The XK model has definitely aged well and looks refined but also sporty. I told my buddy what I liked about the style was that I felt it is classy but understated- meaning it's not like the new Corvette that screams 'LOOK AT ME'... but I found the XK DOES get lots of looks anywhere I go.

If the XK has one thing, it's looks. Jaguar really nailed the looks of the car. They haven't designed anything as timeless since.

“Classy but understated” = Jaguar. Virtually every Jaguar.

haha, I remember writing a similar post shortly after I bought mine. It really is a great car. And yea, the NA XK really does have a lot of power.
