Default hazard warning light button - 2010 XKR

So a really annoying thing has happened. While accelerating rather quickly my hazard warning light button came flying off. Of course the top was down and god knows where it went as i have search the car for hours and no sign of the bloody thing. Picture below shows the empty space. So looking on line for a part and it seems you can only buy the whole Dash Control Unit - Jaguar (C2P17718) - 2008-2014 Jaguar - c2p17718. New over $1,000 used $300 to $400. But everything works fine except my missing button.
Any ideas?

Perhaps do a more thorough search by taking the seats out. Easily done but they are quite heavy.
you could always ask your wife to look as woman believe that men are useless when trying to find anything in a cupboard ETC😂

Use a borescope to look around and under the seats? Just bought one. Handy toy. Seems like the button should be in the car somewhere. Not enough mass to go flying. When I lose something have use a high powered flashlight to go look. I've found items this way. Good luck. And yes, my wife is better at this than I am.

If all else fails get in touch with a breaker; such as jaguar heaven or pacific motors.

Is Pacific Motors a good source of used Jag parts? Where are they? Have you used them?
Jaguar Heaven is great.

They’re in Michigan (not sure why they have Pacific in the name). Bought several items from them over the years. Parts are usually dirty, not always in the best condition. I usually run across their stuff on eBay. I’ll have to look into Jaguar Heaven, hadn’t heard of them before.

Thanks. I'm going to start a new thread on good places to get Jag parts. Check out Jaguar Heaven's website. When I've checked on parts (by email or phone), they responded promptly. Thought I might need a cooling fan (engine). They have. Promised to test first and verify the mileage.

I want to thanks everyone for the helpful tips and suggestions. After a month of looking and no luck I was getting my car washed by the guys that did the ceramic coacting, I mentioned it to the guy, 20 minutes later he said is this what you are looking for I gave him a $20 he was happy i was happy. I have no idea why myself, my wife and my son could not find it!!! Now to make sure it does not come off again.
Thanks to all

That's great. Any idea where he found it? Suggest roofing cement or mortar mix to attach
