Maybe we should start another post to get feedback on the Jaguar recommended blinker fluid specs.....
But it's a special Jaguar spec and only sold by special order from the dealer.

I am sure this has been discussed before on this forum or the UK one
By "calibrate", do you mean go up and down and wide and narrow on startup? If so, mine used to do that and I never set them to Auto - I hate the idea of not being completely in control of when my lights come on.

No, it's actually surplus BMW spec - they have no need for it.

Oh, I wasn't aware this car had bulb monitoring. I have 4000K LEDs in the parking and side marker lights, and those haven't triggered warnings, but I wouldn't be surprised if only the actual "driving lights" are monitored. I'm not too keen on playing with wires and resistors and figuring out where to safely mount them, so I guess that's that.

I noticed that H8 bulbs are available as both 35W and 55W. Could OPs car have been erroneously fitted with 55W bulbs? That might've caused the issue.

Last week I actually saw a BMW that had the factory-optional turn signals installed! It is the only one I have seen in ages. Why doesn't BMW offer turn signals as a standard item on their cars?
