I’m new to the forum/Jaguar ownership, so please forgive any silly questions! I recently inherited my late Dad’d Jag XK 2007, it needs a new headlight and I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good second hand scrap dealer where I may be able to source one? I am based in the West Midlands..

I don't know of a recycler, but you may find one at a (semi) reasonable price on FleaBay.

If it's not damaged, how do you know you need a new headlight? Exactly what is wrong with it?

 

@jmurphy1972 , sorry for your loss.

@Stuart S 's question is based on the fact that sourcing these headlamps is difficult and expensive. Most just recondition the the lamps as opposed to replace them. After all, they are 17 years old!

So, what is the issue??

 

Thanks for your messages, my Dad’s car was in a hot country for many years and the lens is sun damaged/cracked, doesn’t seem it can be polished out and the light it emits is faded/dull..hope that makes sense, thank you, Jo
