Default Help!!! Cold winter Jag issues

So my 2011 jaguar is reading codes, P0016, P0018, P0175, P0172, P0316, and my cruise control P0590.

My car is starting but then after a couple seconds it sputter's and dies. It has been very cold here and the battery was zapped. I charged it up and it still doing it.

May have influence?
It’s been -10 degrees to 30 degrees for a couple months now.
I do have a small coolant leak but it’s very minimal.
Just replace the brakes on it.
It needs alignment.

Any advise on this?

Welcome to the forums Boji Mike,

If you tell me which 2011 Jaguar this is, I'll move your question to the relevant model forum.

Thanks Mike,

I've moved it to X150 forum. This is the place for technical questions on your model.

Hi Boji Mike,
Do have a possibility to set the car in a garage or a workshop and then erase the codes you have and when the car has reached room temperature, then start it and see whats happend. I`ll guess it has to do with cold starts. It seems it doesn`t get enough fuel.
Good luck

One thing to note, although you might want to reject it: those codes and the cruise control warning, coupled with your “zapped” battery lead to what should be considered first as the culprit: the battery. How old is the battery? The fact that you charged it does not mean that it will hold voltage under the starting load. Low battery voltage produces all sorts, any sort, of random symptom including codes thrown for the most unlikely things
Do you keep your battery on a battery minder like the CTEK? Use of those units virtually eliminates these issues.
If you put a new battery in, you must ensure that it is at full charge *before* installation. Do not rely on a clerk telling you that it is at full charge because new batteries are never at full charge off the shelf.

Seems like the car is misfiring on startup due to a rich condition in both banks. I'm not sure if that would cause the P0016/P0018 codes also. but if you're sure its the temp, you can read this:

You can start with these suggestions, checking oil, smelling for fuel, intake, etc...
