Default help identifying this connector in trunk

So replaced battery ( what a pain in an ***) in my 2011 XKR Vert, and noticed a cable with two wires Brown and black with white connector.

does anyone knows where it should be plugged in?

another issue is that my licence plate lights are not working...

Not to worry, it is not used, it was there on my previous and current vert. I don't remember exactly what it was meant for, perhaps a test point for something on the nav/entertainment systems.

Isn't that the Delivery Relay connector? Turns off all the extraneous stuff during shipping, IIRC.

Interesting seeing your layout. It’s different than my 2007. My BT module is under the DVD player and flipped.

For transit isolation relay I'd say. Just make sure it can't short out.

The Transit Relay and harness connector.

help identifying this connector in trunk-transit-relay.jpg

Removed and discarded during PDI.

The harness connector is tucked out of the way but is still subsequently found by hundreds of inquisitive owners of all Jaguar models.
