If you want to move the seat back and forward then you can use the fly lead. See extract from workshop manual (available in sticky at top of forum)

NOTE:In the event of a control module failure a fly lead behind the seat valance can be used to connect a power source directly to the seat slide motor. This enables the seat to be moved to gain access to the front and rear seat fixings. The seat can then be removed from the vehicle in order to access the control module.

CAUTION if you don't have the seat module(s) connected then you will not have certain safety features operational i.e. seat mounted airbag, seat belt pre-tensioners, passenger seat occupant sensor

All since PDOC didn't reply and I have all this time on my hand with the covid-19 pandemic . the seats fits perfectly... I am going to dis-assemble and remove the guts from the old seats and install on the new........looks as if the only function I will lose are the heated seats which I rarely use but nice to have. This is because i an only going to remove the rear pocket section and not mess with the other leather on the new seats....the old seats have like a heating element pad on the seat and seat back. ANY comments before I began?

Sucks you didn't get the other end of the connectors from the donor car. They would have been somewhat straight-forward to swap, once the wiring diagram was studies. Also sucks you had only the 10-way seats.
Of course, is there a way to get some 16-way controllers and maybe run the harness from the door????? Or, maybe not. Probably a mux bus or something controlling them and not straightforward wiring.
Dunno, man, I've not done what you're attempting
Good luck though.

The seat modules are in the seats so you could convert to 16-way by replacing the seat controls and harness in the door card. You can tell the difference between 10-way and 16-way by the number of buttons.

Well that settles it.
10 way seats will not do. I must have 16.
Things that make you go hmmmm.

Not a jab just an observation. I currently have 10 way seats. I cannot fathom why 16 would be necessary. Why did Jaguar not spend that money on an oil gauge instead. At least we have a dipstick. Now that's what would suck... no dipstick. Sorry wandering again.

16-ways are nice the ONE time you adjust them, then since I'm the only driver, they never move. Memory #1
Memory #2 is for my wife, in case of situations.
Pass #1 is also for my wife. Pass #2 is for my smokin' hot girlfriend. Pass #3 is for me, cuz "XKR" and I'll lose my license eventually.

I think it was more a sales pitch than anything else.

You can use #3 for parking. Tilt down the mirrors and save as #3.
