Do you'd think mpresions car would look great with gloss black Sentas? I find myself looking at a lot of black cars with black wheels and admiring how cool it looks. Makes it stand out as something special, not cookie cutter.

Interesting response...they said the lowering springs could not be used on the MY 2010+ XKR.
They are fine for the non SC (XK), but not for the XKR.

So, I am back to square one. For me, 1.3 inches or more is too much of a drop. The 20MM/.78 inch drop would be perfect.

rscultho, did you speak with Matt there at Spires? He was great when he helped me out. Its kind of wierd that they stated it wouldnt work on the my2010+ XKR's as other manufacturers use the same springs for MY2007+ on both standard XK's and XKR's.

Here's his response:

Dear Rodney

Thank you for your contact through our mailing list. We will keep you informed about news and updates to our products. If at any time you wish to be removed from our mailing list, please contact us at: info@spires-st.com.

We do not currently offer a lowering spring suitable for 5.0SC XKR. We do offer our coil over kit which will allow bespoke ride height adjustment to suit your desired right height.

Please do not hesitate to call 01455 289010 or reply email if we can be of any further assistance.
Regards
Matt

I am sort of puzzled a well...I guess there is significant differences between the 2010+ MY XK suspension and that of the XKR...otherwise I don't know why the springs would not work.

Did you use 5mm or 15mm in the rear? Most of your posts indicate 5mm. Thanks.
