This hideous dealer badge on the back of this XKR makes me irrationally angry

My current Jaguar dealership, I like them, and they have very solid protective license plate frame. They asked me if I wanted one, I accepted and it is installed on my car. That is the only frame/badging on any of my cars.

When I ordered my 1989 Toyota Supra I noted that every car on the lot had a dealer badge on it. Not only did I tell the sales manager that if my car was defaced with a badge the deal was off, I told him to make sure my first stop after leaving the lot was not a gas station. When I picked the car up it was devoid of any dealer markings and the tank was full.
You own the deal--not just the car--make sure you get what you want and make doubly sure not to take anything you don't want.
Twenty-nine years later, she still turns heads!

There is a local dealership that keeps saying they'd known for Corvettes all around (cough bull **** cough), Berger Chevrolet.
I've seen older Corvettes with their plaque honest to god RIVETED to the rubber bumper of the car. They were rubber bumper C3s but wow that's sad.
If I buy a car from you, you can do a little license plate frame, but nothing else. If I bring the car to you for a recall or service, don't touch it. No frames, nothing. I will flip out like a "Real" Housewives cast member on you.

Of the many culture shocks when I moved to the states was the need to have the make of the vehicle displayed in the largest possible letters.
I still cannot understand that mindset- where consumers would be willing to have a bloody billboard on the back of the car they paid for.

I bought this Series III last year from a dealer across the country and assumed this dealer badge was stuck on with tape. When I went to remove it I found it was drilled on and there were two holes in the back of my car. Needless to say, I was furious. This car is in pristine condition, however the trunk had, unbeknownst to me since the mechanic who inspected it for me as I bought the car sight unseen, didn’t mention the trunk had some paint checking and needed to be repainted. Fortunately, I had the trunk repainted and the two holes filled in and repainted and the paint matched the rest of the car’s beautiful original paint. I lucked out with that. But who would drill holes in a luxury car like that just to put a dealer badge on??

When I first came to USA I was so confused as to why trucks had Chevrolet, Ford written in massive letters across the entire back. In Europe we had never seen anything like it- in fact, just the opposite, that was the era when if your Merc said 500sec on it, you took the badge off.
