Received this today in the mail, Nigel Thorley new Jaguar XK / XKR.
Very informative, good pictures, well written.
Learned some things about my 2010 XK Convert, it leads me to believe that I have a Portfolio model, have to wait 3 1/2 month before I wake her up to check it out.
It also gave me more confidence in her as far are reliability than I had gotten from reading info on this site.
Great informative book, well written.

Glad you like the book. I was very disappointed, infact complained to the publisher. The front page makes you think it's an X150 book, it doesn't even mention XK8 (deliberately IMO). But it's a thorough X100 book, with an X150 section added on with lots of pictures but nowhere near the text (and research) compared to X100. E.g. the problem section, many pages on X100, almost nothing on X150.
X150 seems to be a secret, no decent books like the type we look at here, and no Haynes or OEM service manuales in hardcopy(?)

Hardly Hot off the press as this was published in August 2015.
No single book is going to give comprehensive coverage of a specific model but, typical of Nigel Thorley, it is well researched and deserves a place on any X150 enthusiast's bookshelf. This one expands on the original you & your Jaguar XK8 from the same author published in 2006. The aim is to contrast and compare X100 with X150 and, in my view, it succeeds in this respect.
