Default How to change a speed limiter value with SDD?

Hi,

tried to change speed limiter setting for my MY2010 XKR. Logged to SDD with a golden key and adjusted CCF. Found a line with speed limiter - changed from 250 to 300 but actually settings are still the same. Car "stops" over 250 (+5-10).

Did anyone succeed with SDD? What are necessary changes in CCF to make it work properly?

SPEED LIMITER is not the Top Speed, look for VEHICLE SPEED or something similar.
Mine worked, now at 185 mph.
It's a drop-down and only has like four available options.

CJ - you are absolutely right. I changed "vehicle maximum speed" from 250 to 300 (highest value in a drop down menu). But it doesn't affect anything

btw: weird - my car is from a US market and values in CCF where in KMH... is that correct?

Yes, it's all in kph. Mine is at 300. I have gotten above 175 mph, but just barely, but by choice as traffic started getting close. The Silver State Classic was cancelled this year so I didn't get to go there. That's where I was going to actually USE the higher limit for a purpose.

Did you ensure you 'saved' the setting and didn't merely Select it and then exit SDD?
Go back in and check it again, make sure it still is what you changed it to, or it's possible it didn't "take" to the CCF.

It is downloaded (weird again - I would say uploaded ) and perceived as a setting in main and two backup computers.

I changed, saved, car was turning on and off couple of times and finally it undergo an error codes erasing procedure.

So I bet it was done properly. I changed also audio settings and they affected a car (they made a radio was not working - so I changed it back).
