First and foremost thank you to those of you who post here. Over the years you have saved both my wallet and my sanity.

I have a 2007 XK and find that when mobile people are finding it very difficult to understand me when I'm talking to them on the integrated phone. I can hear them loud and clear without any static but not vice versa. I had my guy at my local dealership change out the post mounted microphone for an external microphone but it hasn't helped.

The thing to note is that I only ever have this problem whilst moving. Never when sitting still.

From what I understand there are two other parts to the phone, the antenna and the phone module itself. However, I do not know where they are located, how expensive they are and how easily one can get to them.

Any ideas?

 

check this... did they patch the firmware?
