Default How do you know when rest time comes

Well we had some snow yesterday but only a few inches. I don't know if the driving season is over but a sign that is might be is my Ctek went into float mode . I guess I may have to take the car down and clean it up and maybe put the cover on it. I'll just have to play it by ear.

Are you using a CTEK MUS4.3?

Step 8 only goes on after 10 days of not starting the car.

Got some of the white stuff in MA this week. More like slush then rain. I have been driving convertibles all winter for many years and was wondering how the XKR would do with some snow on the ground. We'll by the time morning rolled around, it was cold rain, so I took a ride. I have a mustang I drive all year round and 2 explorers in the family driveway..so once the accumulation happens those are the preference. I tend to keep them all running all year round, I find I have more problems when they sit for any period of time. So, no rest. The XKR cant be worse in the snow than a Mustang GT can it?

Any white stuff at all and traction control kicks in at about 4mph for me. I've only taken it out in the snow once, and it was only around the block. Truly terrifying sliding around, but more importantly, other people that might slide into me.

I hear ya. Plan on using the trucks in any accumulation. But I do want to keep the convertible on the road for the occasional winter ride. Heated seats and steering wheel make it more appealing.

Lots of expensive hardware on the roads around here in winter however...
