I was curious how many 2010 XKRs were sold in the US so I emailed Jaguar Customer Service (an obvious oxymoron). I got a response about a week later saying they don't give out that information. At any rate, does anyone know the 2010 numbers?

 

I have total XK8 & XKR as 2137 but not a breakdown for just XKR.

 

Great info, any further breakdown of the number by body style, coupe/convert?

 

The UK can get you them but probably find it irksome and have better things to do.

 

Here are production figures for 2009 and 2010 gathered from Nigel Thorley's JAGUAR XK/XKR which some people deem to be the bible. Unfortunately he doesn't have sales figures in the book:

2009 XKR coupe 1144
2009 XKR vert 1049
2010 XKR coupe 1763
2010 XKR vert 1368

Hope this helps. The reason I give both years my 13 was actually produced in 12, and the same was true for the 12, it was produced in 11. I don't remember on the 08.

 

Another thought. Why not try Jaguar Clubs of North America? they may have the data.

The figures I provided are production numbers, not sales numbers. Production numbers and sales numbers don't necessarily match. Also, XKs were sold in many different nations and in other continents.
