72,000 miles. My philosophy: I drive about 40 miles each way in heavy commuter traffic. Most days it takes me 1 to 1.5 hours each way. There are days where I sit in traffic for 2 hours. I spend so much time in my car, that I decided I wanted to love what I am driving everyday. I wanted a beautiful, sports car, that was comfortable, and ridiculously fun when traffic is light. i do love my XKR. It was a great choice. I'll keep a beater car to drive in a bind or in the snow, but I want the fun car everyday. No low mileage garage queen Jag for me

Exactly my philosophy as well. There's no way I could drive one thing to work and my XK only on weekends. I love cars, I love my XK and I will drive it everywhere. For bad weather, I have a Mercedes 4matic that is brilliant in the snow (and fun to drive as well).

ON TOPIC: 2007 XK, 52,000 miles.

There's an extremely wealthy CEO that has his corporate HQ near my house. He has a garage near the HQ with 100+ cars and his house may have like 6-10 car garage (also near me). He drives one car to work, parks at his garage, walks to HQ, and then drives home in another car from his collection. Rotates all his cars. I think he has like 2 guys working full time to maintain the cars beyond that.

Bought her new in 2011 with zero miles, she's been trouble free, and fun fun fun to drive. on 3rd set of treads, just turned 65k + miles. About to do first brake pad change.

Up to 27,500 miles in my 2012 XKR purchased 9/13 with 10,500 miles on her. That includes a drip from Ohio to Vegas and back! She runs out of warranty 1/16 so I am getting ready to buy 7 yrs/100k miles. Next stop 2023

I'm just a few mile short of my first K since owning, at 49.6K.

The XK seems to age well, I've driven rental cars that were dogged at 40K. I've also put 3k+ on a what was almost new rental Camry in a week and I could feel the difference after taking it cross country to California, back, then headed North, then back.

2012 XKR-S just a tick under 15k when I put her away for winter
2006 XKR at 60k
1987 XJ-SC at 59k

My jags all get about 10k a year on them combined. All the miles go on my LR3 for the most part, she's at just over 180k now. Hoping for 250k out of it.. we'll see!

Just passed the 50k miles mark last week! Running perfect after replacing the thermostat. Only had the car 3 month and that broke after a week of ownership! I didn't mean to buy it to be honest, I was wanting to trade my XF in for something a bit newer but thought I'd test drive one since I've always loved them. Fatal mistake!

Default Mileage 194,504 Miles, One Owner! 2007 XK Coupe

Here is a high mileage example (194,504 miles) I ran across in the classifieds. Well over 20,000/year. Looks like it had regular dealer service. Someone's daily driver. Check the photos. It looks to be in very nice shape. The recent radiator replacement was probably the original owner's incentive to sell it. Otherwise, the carfax shows a fairly routine service over the 8 years.

I'm also from VA, but I only drive mine on weekends. I drive the XJ through our horrible northern Virginia traffic during the week and on the weekends, I celebrate with the XK. If it snows, those cats stay in their little warm box.

2012 XKR. Bought with 10,500 miles. Its got 27,500 miles since 9/2013. Unfortunately that 17,000 in 2 years and I just bought a 4 yr up to 100,000 mile extension - that means im driving the D#$K of this SOB the next 4 years!!!!

So far its had a new supercharger, water pump, timing chain tensioners and Variable Valve Timing units replaced due to varies marbles, startup chatters, and idle ticking problems... lets hope this gorgeous lemon is finally fixed
