Well a pothole did. Hit one in the middle of FL on a 2 lane road about 10:00PM a few nights ago. The pothole took out both left hand tires in one fail swoop. At first I thought no problem....I carry a spare and air compressor, then the second TPMS light went off. Curbed both of the Nevis wheels but they are fine. Already have 2 new Pirellis on them and Ill drop off the wheels tomorrow to be powder coated. Did a through inspection and the car still drives like new at 29K.

 

Sorry to hear that. If you haven't already, an alignment wouldn't hurt. My XKR was out of whack after my wife killed two tires on a curb.

I haven't hit any major potholes with my Jag, but I have seen what several thousand dollars worth of damage to a Fiat looks like after an encounter with a pothole. I had been asleep in the passenger seat at the time of the incident and it was a rude awakening.
