You aren't bashing..but you are stirring the pot with others. You had an unresolved issue that was causing a big problem....No one knows what the problem was to date. It could have been the perfect storm of little things all being slightly off that caused this. It coul dhave been a machining issue with a part. Hell Honda was producing twisted unibodies do to a slighly malformed die that prohibited cars from ever being properly aligned. Took them many months to figure it out with cars having most everything replaced then they realised what the issue was.

You let the car go so let the issue go. The further repeating of your facts that you have been stating ad nauseum about the car and health issues gets old quickly and serves no useful purpose unless you are just trying to make yourself feel better some how....

The title of this thread is; I'm at the end of my rope with this new 12 XKR ...you must have misjudged the end of that rope because it seems you have a ton left

As several members have all said, you will be much happier now with the MB..and think of this: you can rehash everything to a new audience who will eat it up.

RJC- Shoot this horse and be done with it. Start a new topic/post when you get the new MB and let us know how it works out. Most of us aren't too chauvinistic to welcome the insight of an experienced Jag pilot on other great cars. No specs please. Just your subjective observations.
I, for one, want to know about the problems.
I had a Benz years ago. It was the worse car I ever owned. After a while, the nice ride, nice interior, solid build and reputation meant nothing. I swore to never own one again...nor any German or European car.
Jaguar, pre-Ford, was also a brand with a troubled reliability reputation. I know many mechanics who would curse when one showed up at their shop. Ford brought more reliability to the brand and I fear that post-Ford, things would return to the infamous period of Jaguar. Maybe the 2012 models are that group. I don't know but I want to know what's going on before I pony up my money.
Taking a car in for service is one thing.
Taking it in every other month is another.

This thread serves no purposes at all and it seems brand bashing mutually . So, it's time to lock this thread . Please do not take this personal and others who are involved in
I also own W212 MB E Class, the best car I have ever owned and the best designed car unlike its predecessor and there is no point of bashing other brands as well

I am closing this because I am afraid these messages could turn into bickering, fights and other bad things which are not allowed and to avert further scurry it was time to close it
