Installing EuroToys 1.5pulley 08 XKR Before and After Dyno is possible with funding
Going to get the 1.5lb Eurotoys pulley installed tomorrow on 08 XKR
the same shop has a dyno shop and would charge an additional $200 to Dyno before and after if I wanted.
No sure that I want to spend that money to see the difference but I though I would offer it to you guys if you wanted to see the results.
Can make a fund me link for $200 , if its there I can get the Dyno tomorrow as well.
Let me know if there is interest

I did called Eurotoys,, they said that for 4.2 motor he is not interested
Either way ,,I did not get the pulley installed, the shop actually looked at the pulley and the car and told me around it was too much work $400+ to install instead of $250,, way too much IMO..I stopped by 3 more shops, no one will touch it, called a bunch of places they do not want to do it. Didnt think it would be this difficult to find a shop to do the install.
So I think I will be getting a tool and installing it myself instead.

Call Jag at ECU tuning Group. He charges $200.

Yes and no. It is the same size pulley everyone else sells, Mina, Eurocharged, Spires and many other Jaguar tuners, so it is not unique to Eurotoys. As is, the pulley does increase boost but without a remap, only low end torque is increased before the ECU cuts boost pressure to keep it in spec.

Without the puller, I'm not surprised most shops won't touch it. It is a lot of work and liability to cut it off especially if none of them have never done one. You probably can do it yourself if you are mechanically inclined and feel comfortable removing the belt and have a torch to heat up the new pulley. Follow the instructions step by step.

Or, maybe that I developed that upper pulley back in 2002 for the 4.0L engine! At that point I never really used it/or sold them because on the 4.0L it made more sense in using the larger crank pulley. When the 4.2L came out, that is we then started selling them. A few went to the West coast (insert name) and a few went to New York (insert name). After that everyone copied them World-wide.
Can you now see why I would not fund testing of a 14 yr old pulley?
