Instrument panel dimmer - RESOLVED

The instrument lights on my 2007 XK work but are dim and do not respond to the dimmer control (on the panel by my left knee). Can anyone suggest a fix for that? Thanks!

Are your headlights on? Maybe on Auto?

Try turning to OFF and see what happens. The dash may be on Night mode.

Cee Jay, you may be right as I haven't tried to adjust my Jag lately, but in my other cars, I can only adjust the dash lights when the dash is in night mode which is different from the headlights.
