I’ll check with my friend who’s an owner of a state farm agency about the true figures the insurance companies should pay…. Plus they should also pay the increased value during the pandemic car shortages and they should pay for the condition of the vehicle(provide service records and pictures to prove it).
Their offer is for a car in FAIR condition in 85% of the offers! At least go for very good or excellent condition value and go beyond your market for values if it’s not high enough… because it’s a “rare car”….
Squeeze as much $$$ out of them as you can because they’re save as much as they can for the company!!!!!
Just got this feedback! ***the price is actually really really good based the prices at the auction and cars sold with that high mileage (the average miles for a 2010 XKR at the Manheim auction is 51k miles over the last 6 months)..

I battle with insurance companies every time someone bumps one of my vehicles. It's always a frustrating experience that leaves me unsatisfied, but I have always been able to talk them up at least a little bit. You really don't stand to lose anything by trying to negotiate the price. That being said, I'm surprised that you were offered that much, and I'd be inclined to accept it.
Rant: It seems like a serious conflict of interest when the entity responsible for making payment on your interests gets to decide for you what that payment is going to be. In my state, there is little, if any, recourse for a lowball offer from your insurance company.
