Default Interior cleaning

Any ideas for cleaning vomit from the front seat of the car? We've had a mishap & there's vomit on the carpets, seat belt ,seat, well pretty much everywhere in the front passenger side. I've got a home use carpet cleaner which has the liquid, vacuum wand attachment, which I could do the carpets & seat belt with. But I'm at a loss for cleaning the perforated seats. I'm tempted to try the carpet cleaner, but feeling rather nervous as I don't know what's in the seat.
Are there any cleaning products I could try ? ( U.K. )
Or perhaps I should go professional cleaning company?

thanks.
Smelly Mike 😔

My sympathies, it must be someone you love dearly if they are still living.
Just some thoughts since no one else seems to want to touch this.
Have you looked into the enzyme based cleaners that eat biological matter? Cant say that I have any experience, just trying to offer some help.
Amazon Amazon
I dont know if I could trust a company to get every bit of it out. (its more psychological than based on any facts).

Yes, although I love her a bit less today. Said she was feeling a little off & then 10 mins later all hell broke loose.
Ive spent the day with the Vax cleaner, have done everything 3 times over. The seat belt has been soaked & scrubbed 3 times in a bowl of hot water with lemon smelling detergent & sucked dry with the vax each time. I think I'm over the worst, fortunately there was none down the sides of the seat, so that didn't have to come out.
Have put my efforts to the test by closing the windows & will see what pong is present in the morning.
Fingers crossed
If that hasn't worked I'll have to get more inventive researching cleaning products.

cheers for the sympathy.

I would look for a professional auto detailer. I'm sure they have come across this type of problem and maybe more difficult ones. You might want to talk to a dealer to see who does their service as well as a restoration shop. I suspect the carpets and leather would not be a clean up problem but the perforated seats would be the issue. I would think they would need to remove the seat covers and check and clean the foam as well as the leather. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

+1 on the auto detailer.

Find out which one(s) the local taxi drivers use. They will frequently come across this problem with people they don't love at all!

Lol this takes me back to when I picked up dear daughter from school when she wasn't feeling well

Drove gently and cruised around a roundabout and it was like a scene from The Exorcist, windscreen, vents, dash, gear selector, seats and carpets, all I said was 'Now that's not something you see everyday?

Luckily no perforated seats in Audi or my X150 and a dark colour that just wiped clean (the reason I'll never have perforated)

I did dilute some enzyme cleaner for the final wipe down, which had a really pleasant whiff.

And the rubber mats I had fitted had a high lip and would hold 1l of fluid...and boy was I lucky!
