I'm sorry to see the damage, if you replace this yourself please do a write up I would like to see how this panel comes off.
If im unsure how a panel comes off, I look for a used one on Ebay. They usually list pictures showing the backside and how it clips. Then I know it comes off.

That link didn't work regardless, so here's what I found.... but in a different color.
This is a video by Klaus at Top Hydraulics that shows how to remove the quarter trim panels. In this case, for top cylinder replacement. It's a good video and Top Hydraulics is the only source I'd use for the top cylinders. Mike Brewer also did a video with him on Wheeler Dealers.
He's a great guy, too. Extremely helpful. Used his services for my SL500. @XJFanMatt , hope this answers your question.
