Welcome to the forum, when you get a moment stop by our New Members Area ==>> https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...-intro-must-5/
I have a 2005 XJR and a 2009 XKR, and swap between them regularly.
The XJR has a sunroof which impacts the head room a little, the XJ's without sunroof have about 1.5" more headroom in the front.
With the drivers seat in lowest position, and trying to get the driving position the same in both cars, there is basically the same head and knee room in both cars.
The XKR takes a bit more effort to get in & out of, but once you're in, there is really no difference in the "size and feel" of the front cabin.
Obviously the XKR has a lower roof height, and the seat is lower to the ground. I find I sometimes bang my head getting in the XKR if I have been driving the XJR a lot.
You can basically step out of the XJR, the XKR is more of a climb out, but that's more to do with the layout of the car, than the actual space in the cabin.
I'm only 6'1" so someone 5" taller might find the differences more obvious.

6'6", no real problems getting in or out of the XK. I pivot on my left hand on the door sill getting out. It's a snug fit, the A pillar / door edge is close to my temple. Duck a little to see some stop lights. More room around the knees versus some SUV's and plenty of room in the foot well considering how intrusive the engine is.
Most cars you sit in, this one you strap on.
