Hi guys, I found a 2010 great deal however the carfax shows AC compressor replaced 4 times in the past 4 years in Jaguar dealer. Is this normal or something causing the Compressor failing so often ?

31K miles => replaced AC compressor
43K miles => replaced AC compressor
45K miles => replaced AC compressor
54K miles => replaced AC compressor

Thanks for any advice.

That looks kinda excessive. It makes you wonder: was someone doing something wrong? Perhaps the shop not doing the fill properly, or not using the right gas, or the owner setting the AC to 'economy' mode which shuts down the compressor - those could lead to the compressor seals drying out & failing. What you really need to know is: WHY did the compressor need replacing so often? Perhaps a call to the service department of the dealer that did the work might get some answers...
