Default iPace - you seen one yet?

Was at the dealer today and saw my first iPace. Black with black wheels. Looks great in person. Inside dash is very current Land Rover style and package is pretty cool.

Its on my shortlist when my wife needs a new car. I really liked it at the dealership-- there is a section here dedicated to it.

Saw it at the dealer but not on the road yet. Hopefully it will help rid the world of those hideous Tesla Model Xs

funny. It's odd to me they chose to call it I-Pace and then also have an E-Pace that is not electric.

Under development jointly with Land Rover is the next generation s-Pace. It's experimental and solar-powered for NASA to use on Mars. It'll be called the SPACEX ROVER. And it'll fly! Here's the prototype.

In electrical terms I is the symbols for current. Maybe that was what they were thinking. Still E would have been a better choice imo.

F-Pace IVR

I think it looks decent. I don't buy new, so my opinion is not important, but I like the Range Rover more; and since resale is trash, I'd rather have a used one over a F-Pace when comparing same dollars versions.

Chevrolet just made electric car enthusiasts look like morons with their latest commercial. They play the theme from the Jetsons, but imply that "Elroy" is the dog, to the point of saying something in their cutesy disclaimer about allowing dogs to ride in the front seat. Jeez, everyone knows the dog's name was Astro (nee Tralfaz).

Chevrolet has my favorite marketing team. They gave us Mahk from Zebra Corner parodying their trash.

The funniest part about that ad is it was mostly paid for by VW, not Chevrolet. It actually wasn’t supposed to be a brand ad at all, just one promoting electric cars in general. The organization that made it is the same one VW had to give a bunch of money to as part of the diesel fiasco settlement.
