Make sure you have at least one song loaded into Itunes on your phone. If not the Iphone will pause every second, even if you are trying to stream music from another app.

I bought a Bovee 1000. Does it just plug into the 30 pin connecter in the car?

Ok I guess I'm an idiot, The Bovee does no come with a cord to plug into the car. Do I need a cable to go from the Bovee to USB port or the other port with 20 pins?
I can't thank you enough for all the help.

It connects to the apple dock directly.

It does not have the same kind of pin set up as the Jag.

Then it won't work, it's only for the Apple dock for bluetooth conversion.

EDIT: Why don't you post a pic of the dock fitted to your car.

If you don't have the iPod dock in the centre console with the Apple dock cable, then the Bovee won't work in your application.

Yes, you have to have a cord of your own, the Bovee is just a small plug device. You need the Jaguar Ipod Cable to connect the port in your center console. As my car came with the cable I don't have advice on the part number. But it is necessary. Also, be careful with non-Jaguar cables, some have reported problems with the knockoffs not working well. Others have had success.

Here is a picture of the cable with my Bovee attached, the other end goes into the center cubby Ipod port. Also a picture of the label on that cord.
