I've been undersealed

I wanted to give a shout out to Mavin Detailing in Crawley, near Gatwick Airport (mavindetailing.com). No affiliation etc.... They're a very small outfit specialising in detailing and paint correction, but also a Lanoguard Affiliate - and I've just had them do a Lanoguard treatment on my XKR. £350 includes a return visit in 12 months' time for a check and top-up. I gave them an extra £100 and they gave the car a de-contamination wash and clay bar job plus an interior detail while they were at it.
When I got the car back, I could smell the underseal from inside the cabin, and I mentioned this in passing - not a complaint, just mentioned it - and they insisted in collecting the car this morning, giving it an "ozone treatment" and bringing it back this afternoon (now completely smell-free). I also mentioned I could see a slight "watermark" on the leather dash top; they re-cleaned it with a pH neutral cleaner and applied leather food, and it looks pristine now.
They're basically a bunch of obsessives working seven days a week out of a small industrial unit. It's great to find people who really care about cars and their work.
I'm going to get them to waterproof the hood in the autumn.

They wire brushed the subframes etc before spraying. They did take some pictures but they weren't very useful. Lanoguard doesn't look particularly impressive when applied anyway. It's clear, not opaque.
