I've owned a Jaguar for three days and it's already in the shop!
Hey gang, just wanted to share my ownership experience thus far.
I picked up my 2010 XKR Coupe Thursday evening. Everything was fine until Sunday, when I experienced the following three issues:
1. The Radio failed to get any signal in FM1 and would not allow you to seek or change the station at all. FM2, AM, and Autostore all work perfectly.
2. While trying to transfer my Sirius radio subscription over to the car, I noticed that the Sirius ID was missing. Literally everything but the ID showed on the screen. Sirius did not even have an ID associated with my VIN.
3. The seek toggle wheel on the steering wheel would only seek down, not up.
The strange thing is that all of these were working on Friday and Saturday. I even drove the car for a long time on Sunday thinking they might be battery related, but that didn't fix it either.
Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms? The dealership says they haven't seen anything like this before.
My Porsche is already a garage queen, which is what I was hoping to avoid with the CPO XKR. I only got a taste of the awesomeness that is the XKR!

It's not the battery and it is very odd.... I have 80 k and zero... I mean zero issues, and I drive the car like I stole it........bought it over a 2005 twin turbo porsche.

Same Sirius Issue
I'm interested to hear if you get a resolution to the missing Sirius ID. I just bought a 2010 XK convertible with ~27k miles and 5 months left on the original warranty. I also am missing the Sirius ID. I called Sirius and they couldn't find anything doing a VIN lookup. The dealer said I'd have to bring it in, which I'll do shortly. If I get an answer I'll let you know.

Thank you all for the encouraging comments. I will certainly let you know what the dealer finds.
On a side note, my loaner car is an XF 2.0T... Not a bad car, but the turbo lag is really evident. Keeping it within the narrow power band is a bit difficult, especially with eight gears! You're shifting constantly!

You may need to do a hard reset on the infotainment & sat radio systems - pull fuses 21 (15A blue) and 25 (10A, red) in the rear fuse box behind the vertical panel between the back seats, leave them out for a minute or so, then bung them back in. No guarantee this will work, but it's worth a try.

Yeah, but disconnecting the battery resets everything, which is a pain in the **** - need to recalibrate the parking brake, windows and ECU. Pulling a specific fuse resets just the modules that it feeds.

At least you had it for a few days. LOL. I didn't even make it home from the dealer and got a check engine so I turned back to the dealer. The auxiliary motor was not working and mine was brand new! Since then pretty reliable with only a few minor hiccups although I only put 1,900 miles a year.

According to a service record I got when I purchased the car, the battery was replaced under warranty this past November. I assume that would have reset the Satellite radio (and the entire infotainment system). According to the service record in addition to replacing the battery... "Retrieved code B11DB-87 Battery Monitoring. Performed procedure for battery monitoring system, configured infotainment module and cleared codes and retest, ok at this time".
I just have the Satellite radio ID missing and not the other problems of the OP, but I'll give the fuse thing a try and if that doesn't work, add it my list of warranty check items.

And if this XK is not going to be used FREQUENTLY, do yourself a favour: get a CTEK battery maintainer, install it permanently and use it when the car is in the garage. That will eliminate any battery worries and the random and perplexing electronic glitches that low voltage causes in these cars. Virtually every electronic gremlin is caused by the battery! These can range from odd warning lights, to window, seat, hood operation being erratic or non-existent, SatNav problems, etc - all caused by a battery not kept at full charge. (this is not an opinion, it is an experience-based statement).

Well, I picked up the car this evening and issue #1 was solved by replacing a digital receiver module (no idea what that really is). Issue #3 was solved by replacing the switch on the steering wheel (they call it an ICE switch). Issue #2 is still unresolved, although they said they fixed it with a reset. Going back to the shop tomorrow... It's now been in the shop longer than I've owned it!
