Default Jag tech near Port Angeles

Hi All. Since I have time on my hands today, I thought I'd reach out for help.

I'm trying to find recommendations for Jag tech anywhere near me for general maintenance. Within an hour if possible. Poulsbo, Silverdale, Port Townsend. It's beginning to look like Tacoma (2 hours away) may be my only choice. Seattle has a few, but that involves a ferry ride and probable overnight stay. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Cheers!

It has been 40 years since I lived in Poulsbo so can't help you there. And that is indeed a heck of a trip to Tacoma or Seattle! At least the Lofall bridge is intact now. It sank the year I moved to Poulsbo and it took a while to get a ferry in place. Although very scenic, driving around Hood Canal was a long way too.
Check the regional forum for the US Northwest. I'm sure there are recommendations for a garage there.
What about a ferry ride over to Vancouver Island? Seems like there are X150 forum members in Victoria (SOV211) that may be able to offer advice on Jaguar garages in that area.

I'm hoping to find someone in Victoria. At least it will be a fun trip and staying overnight wouldn't bother me at all! My wife and I love to go there several times a year. It's a pleasant 80 minute ferry ride and their beautiful city is one of our absolute favorites. There is a "European Specialist" in Port Angeles that I'm supposed to go talk to, but I wasn't impressed when I drove by. We'll see. Thanks for the reply. Cheers!

The ferry ride to Victoria is great. The city is even better. Sounds like a fun way to take your car to a mechanic.

I doubt if you will find anything on the Olmpic Peninsula. Jaguar Seattle which is located in Lynnwood WA recommended that I go to Performance Motors (Performance Motors 21116 67th Ave W Lynnwood, WA 98036). It is fairly close to the Edmonds ferry and you don't have to travel into Seattle traffic.

Thanks for that. Edmonds is a nice little town, too. I talked to Performance Motors about putting a Quaife differential in my '06 John Cooper Works MINI. They were very knowledgeable. That's on my list of things to do this summer, too. I'm happy to hear they could take car of a Jag, as well. Cheers!

The best place to go for Jaguar service in Victoria is, yup, Jaguar Victoria/Land Rover Victoria. Honest and competent servicing and I have used them for years on a number of Jags including a 2007 XK.
There used to be a couple of independent specialists in Victoria but they have now retired. Further up the Island (but some distance from Victoria) there are independents.

Since Victoria has been mentioned, don’t miss JAGUARS ON THE ISLAND in Victoria (this year on the weekend of July 19); this is annually the largest Jaguar show (both judged and non-judged cars in the field and very welcome).

Thanks for the information. And the show would be awesome to attend. I'm very close to making a deal on a nice '08 xkr. I don't care about judging. Just the idea of a bunch of beautiful Jags "hanging out" would be a real treat. Cheers!

A deviation from the question of servicing but regarding Jaguars on the Island, a couple of photos tell the tale:

Information at Jaguar Car Club of Victoria.

Default WOW!

Amazing! Looks like over 100 cars. I would go whether I've got a car by then or not. (I know I will, though!)
